Hello everyone!
My name is Ashley Holmberg and I am thrilled to be part of the wonderful multidisciplinary team at FES for this upcoming school year! My role as a school physical therapist involves helping students suspected of and/or diagnosed with a disability access the school environment and participate in educationally related activities as part of their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). As a school PT, I evaluate, assess and provide direct service to students to improve their functional abilities and mobility in school classrooms, hallways and other areas that may be part of their educational program. Physical therapy services also involve consultation with staff involved in the student’s program. My days in Franklin will be Mondays and Thursdays with hours to be determined.
